Soft blue-green jadeite meets warm gold in this delicate ring, combining a sculptural gourd motif with a polished bamboo design band.
The natural jadeite is carved into a rounded double gourd, with two gently domed lobes and a softly defined waist. Its green colour carries a subtle blue undertone, while the polished surface catches the light beautifully, revealing gentle variations in tone and translucency.
Set at a slight angle, the gourd brings a playful, asymmetric touch to the design. The 18K gold mount is marked “G18K” and features a closed back. Measuring approximately 1.6mm across, the slender band is formed as smooth, polished bamboo segments, with eight small natural diamonds adding delicate points of sparkle.
In Chinese tradition, the gourd, or hulu, is associated with blessings and prosperity through its connection with the phrase fu lu. Bamboo evokes resilience and steady growth. Together, these motifs make a thoughtful gift with a warm and uplifting meaning.
