For me, sourcing jewellery is a very personal thing. I spend time looking closely at each piece, appreciating its details and imagining the pleasure it might bring to its next owner. That care continues when I prepare a parcel and write the card to go with it.

Alongside Amanda’s necklace, I included a SHECH pendant featuring the Chinese character 致 (zhì). The character carries a sense of dedication and heartfelt intention, and appears in the Chinese expression for offering thanks, 致谢. It felt a fitting little gift to express my gratitude for her trust.

To hear that those details were noticed—and that the opal necklace brought Amanda such happiness—meant so much to me.
