A beautifully proportioned vintage diamond ring, crafted in platinum and fully hallmarked in London in 1968.
At the centre is a striking natural antique-cut diamond measuring approximately 7mm in diameter and estimated at approximately 1.20ct. Its broader, individual facets give the stone the distinctive character and softer brilliance associated with antique-cut diamonds.
The central diamond is framed by a delicate halo of natural diamonds, forming an elegant softly squared setting measuring approximately 10mm across. Further diamond accents extend onto the shoulders, adding brightness while keeping the overall design beautifully balanced.
Viewed from the side, the ring reveals an attractive openwork gallery beneath the setting, allowing light to enter the central stone while giving the ring a light and architectural profile.
The platinum band retains a full set of London hallmarks, including the 950 platinum mark and lowercase date letter “n”, corresponding to 1968.
