A remarkable antique bracelet from the Victorian era, dating to circa 1880, crafted in the traditional Silver on Gold technique, one of the most celebrated jewellery-making methods of the nineteenth century.
Beautifully constructed in 15ct gold with silver settings, the bracelet features an elegant series of articulated links leading to a striking central knot motif. Symbolising love, eternity, and unity, the knot design was a popular and meaningful theme in Victorian jewellery.
The bracelet is adorned with vivid natural rubies displaying rich, consistent colour throughout, complemented by sparkling old-cut natural diamonds. At the centre sits an old-cut diamond measuring approximately 3.5mm, adding a beautiful focal point to the design.
