An exceptional Early Victorian brooch (c.1840s) crafted in lustrous 15ct gold, featuring ornate scrollwork, repoussé detailing, and an elegant articulated drop suspended by decorative chains. This dramatic and sculptural design is characteristic of high-style jewellery from the Romantic era.

The brooch is set with four vibrant pink foiled-back crystals, each displaying beautiful brilliance and depth of colour. Foil-backed stones were a hallmark of early-to-mid 19th century craftsmanship, enhancing luminosity and giving the gems a glowing, jewel-like presence.
