The central pattern depicts Eos (or its Roman name Aurora), the goddess of dawn in Greek mythology, who rides gracefully in a chariot pulled by two winged Pegasus, galloping across the sky and ushering in the day. This image symbolizes new life, hope and light, and is extremely popular in 19th century neoclassical art.
The gold frame is carved with a safety chain and a long pin buckle. It is made of 15ct gold and has noble materials and contemporary characteristics.
