A beautifully detailed vintage butterfly necklace, bringing together golden yellow, warm orange and delicate white enamel in a striking, graceful design.

The butterfly was originally a sterling silver brooch and has been converted into a necklace, complemented by four natural agate beads chosen to echo its warm colouring. The reverse of the butterfly bears the mark “STG SIL”, denoting sterling silver.

Fine silver lines define the wing patterns, while delicate surface textures beneath the translucent coloured enamel catch the light. White markings along the edges provide a lovely contrast to the rich yellow and orange tones.

The sculpted silver body, segmented abdomen and gently curled antennae add depth and character. With an upper wingspan of approximately 9.2cm, the butterfly sits beautifully across the chest, making an expressive statement with a simple knit, blouse or dress.
