A classic British vintage band ring in rich, warm 22ct yellow gold, hallmarked in Birmingham in 1947.
The gently domed exterior and softly rounded edges give this ring a simple, elegant profile. Measuring approximately 3.8mm wide, it is equally lovely worn alone, stacked with another ring, or chosen as a vintage wedding band.
Inside the band, the full British hallmarks include the crown and “22” gold standard marks, the Birmingham anchor, and date letter X for 1947, together with the maker’s mark WEDU S&CO.
A beautifully understated piece, retaining the natural lustre and light surface wear of a ring treasured over many decades.
