Georgian Turquoise Flower Ring | c.1820–1840 | 22ct Gold | Full British Hallmarks | Antique Locket Back Ring

A charming and highly collectible antique flower ring from the Georgian / Regency period, dating to circa 1820–1840. Crafted in rich solid 22ct gold with full British hallmarks, this beautiful ring captures the timeless elegance and sentimentality of early nineteenth-century jewellery.

The ring is designed as a delicate flower composed of seven natural turquoise cabochons. Their vivid robin’s egg blue colour contrasts beautifully with the warm glow of high-carat gold. One stone displays a subtle natural green hue, adding individuality and character that only natural turquoise can possess.

Elegant split shoulders adorned with tiny gold bead details lead to the flower head, creating a graceful and refined silhouette. The design remains remarkably wearable today while preserving all the romance of the Georgian era.

A particularly appealing feature is the original locket compartment to the reverse. The cover is no longer present, but this sentimental construction is typical of Georgian jewellery and would once have held a lock of hair, a miniature portrait, or another cherished keepsake.

Delicate, romantic, and full of history, this is a wonderful survivor from two centuries ago and a lovely addition to any antique jewellery collection.
