A beautiful and romantic antique flower ring from the Georgian / Regency period, dating to circa 1820–1840. Crafted in rich 15ct gold, this elegant ring features a vivid natural ruby surrounded by six luminous natural seed pearls, forming a delicate floral cluster with timeless charm.
The shoulders are adorned with graceful original scroll motifs, while hand-engraved decoration remains visible along the outer band, reflecting the refined craftsmanship of the early nineteenth century.
At the back, the ring retains its original covered locket compartment, a treasured feature of Georgian sentimental jewellery. Such compartments were often used to preserve a lock of hair or a small keepsake, making each piece deeply personal and symbolic.
The natural ruby displays a lovely rich pinkish-red colour, while the seed pearls are beautifully matched, full and lustrous. In person, the ring is even more charming and elegant than photographs can capture.

The ruby and all seed pearls are original and secure. The original covered locket compartment remains intact. Minor wear commensurate with age. A remarkably well-preserved example, full of character and history.
