Edwardian Seed Pearl Crescent Moon Brooch | c.1900 | 15ct Gold | Antique Pearl Crescent Pin
£875.00
A beautiful antique crescent moon brooch dating to the Edwardian era, circa 1900, crafted in rich 15ct gold and adorned with natural seed pearls.
The crescent moon was one of the most beloved motifs of the Victorian and Edwardian periods, symbolising luck, femininity, renewal, and enduring love. This elegant example captures the romantic spirit of the era with its graceful crescent form and delicate pearl decoration.
The brooch is set with two rows of natural seed pearls displaying soft lustre and pleasing uniformity. Around the outer edge, finely detailed star-like settings create a radiant halo effect, reminiscent of moonlight shining through the night sky. The warm glow of the gold beautifully complements the gentle sheen of the pearls.
Refined, elegant, and timeless, this piece is a wonderful example of Edwardian craftsmanship and would make a charming addition to any antique jewellery collection.
