Three antique diamonds follow a gentle diagonal line, framed by sweeping platinum shoulders and the warmth of yellow gold. A graceful twist on the classic three stone ring, with flowing curves and beautifully balanced proportions.
Dating to circa the 1920s, this ring retains the delicate elegance associated with Edwardian jewellery. It combines an 18ct yellow gold band with platinum settings and bears a “PLAT 18CT” stamp inside the shank.
At the centre sits an old European cut natural diamond measuring approximately 4.8mm in diameter, accompanied by two smaller diamonds of approximately 3.2mm each. Their antique facets reveal lively flashes of light and shifting contrasts as the ring moves. The total diamond weight is estimated at approximately 0.65 carats.
The distinctive crossover shoulders curve around opposite sides of the central diamond, giving the design a gentle sense of movement. Open spaces between the shoulders and settings keep the outline light and airy, while the platinum provides a bright contrast to the yellow gold beneath.
