DESCRIPTION
A magnificent Art Deco pendant from the 1920s, showcasing a fully carved Burmese jadeite plaque with an exceptional double-sided dragon motif. The jadeite is beautifully translucent with a rich natural green tone, displaying the refined craftsmanship characteristic of the Art Deco period.
The plaque is set in 18ct white gold (hallmarked “18ct”) and adorned with natural diamonds on the decorative bail. The pendant comes with a platinum chain (tested, no hallmark), offering three adjustable lengths: 43cm / 46cm / 48cm, allowing versatile styling and layering.
The dragon motif is masterfully carved on both sides, featuring flowing lines, powerful posture, and intricate detailing—symbolizing strength, protection, good fortune, and prosperity in traditional Chinese culture.
