A refined antique seal fob from the 19th century, crafted in 15ct gold and decorated with vibrant green guilloché enamel.

The base is hexagonal and set with an engraved seal face bearing the monogram “AW” in elegant script. Such personalised seals were once used to stamp wax on letters, serving both as a mark of identity and a symbol of refinement.

The body of the fob is beautifully formed, with oval and rectangular panels of translucent green enamel over engine-turned grounds, the vivid colour shimmering in light. Originally intended to hang from a gentleman’s watch chain, today it makes an exquisite pendant or collector’s piece.
