A softly translucent jadeite leaf, a vivid touch of green, and delicate natural diamonds — a graceful pendant with meaningful Chinese symbolism.
The natural icy white jadeite is carved into a leaf, with a central vein and gently flowing details that follow its curved surface. Its pale colour and soft lustre reveal the carving beautifully as the light changes.
Crafted in 18ct white gold and stamped Au750, the pendant features a floral diamond-set detail above the leaf. A small natural green jadeite gourd rests beside it, adding a fresh contrast to the understated white jadeite. Delicate claws hold the leaf in place, while the reverse has a closed-back setting.
In Chinese symbolism, the leaf is associated with “金枝玉叶” (golden branches and jade leaves), an expression of preciousness, and also suggests growth and vitality. The gourd, known as hulu, echoes fulu, meaning blessings and prosperity. Together, the motifs express a wish for a cherished life accompanied by good fortune.
